Auction Rules -- Please Read Before Bidding

Thank you for joining our Online Silent Auction to support Sandi Ball. 100% of the proceeds will go towards helping her recover from theft.

Please take a moment to read all of the instructions below before you bid.

Important note: All buyers are responsible for the shipping costs specified for each item. Shipping is NOT included in the bidding price.

BIDDING

1. Bidding will be conducted through the comments threads for each auction item. Submit the amount you want to bid as a comment.
2. All bids must increase according to the minimum bid increase amount specified for the item. Bids that fall below the minimum bid increase amount can be disregarded and may be deleted without prior notice.
3. The commenter with the highest bid when the auction closes is the winner of the auction. Bid eligibility will be based on the comment’s timestamp. Any bids placed after the official auction closing time will be disregarded.
4. At the end of an auction, the winning bidder will be contacted at the e-mail address associated with the username used to submit comments. Otherwise, winning bidders are responsible for providing us with an e-mail address.

PAYMENT

1. All payments will be handled via PayPal. We will send a PayPal invoice to the winning bidder after completion of the auction.
2. Payment must be sent via PayPal within 24 hours after the invoice has been sent. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder, who will then have 24 hours to submit payment.

SHIPPING

1. All buyers are responsible for the shipping costs specified for each item. Shipping is NOT included in the bidding price.  Please go here for more information about shipping rates.
2. Once payment is received, the item will be sent to the winning bidder either by us or the item donor.
3. If you are local to the Bay Area, we may be able to make arrangements to meet up with you to deliver your item.
4. International Buyers:  Additional shipping costs will apply.  Shipping costs listed for international buyers are an estimate and may be increased if costs are higher than anticipated.
5. If you win multiple items, it maybe possible to combine shipping if we have all of the items in hand.  Otherwise, items will be sent directly by the donor and listed shipping costs apply.
